McGee Hyundai of Barre Compares:
New Hyundai Tucson vs.
New Honda CR-V
If you are in the market for a stylish crossover SUV, there is no shortage of options, making it hard to choose. At McGee Hyundai of Barre, the Hyundai Tucson is one of our most popular models due to its standout style, impressive capabilities, and full range of electrified powertrain options. To top it all off, the Hyundai Tucson offers luxury appeal for much less than close rivals like the popular Honda CR-V. Our team compares key features between the new Hyundai Tucson and new Honda CR-V to help you determine which vehicle is right for you and which is head and shoulders above the crowd.
While great effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information on this site, errors do occur so please verify information with a customer service rep. Selling price may vary from the MSRP as each dealer sets the selling price. The selling price does not include sales tax, vehicle registration fees, finance charges, other fees required by law, market adjustments and document preparation fee of $599. Prices are subject to change daily and expire at the close of business the same day. Offers, incentives, and financing are subject to credit approval, offer expiration, and other restrictions. See dealer for qualifications and complete details.

More Luxury for Less
Although the Hyundai Tucson is priced lower than the Honda CR-V, it offers more luxury amenities and better equipment. While both SUVs offer staples like infotainment systems with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto&trade, the Tucson offers larger touchscreen options and Hyundai's digital key to access convenient remote features. Additional luxuries like heated seats are available for the Honda CR-V, but driving the Tucson will offer even more luxuries like ventilated, cooling seats - not available on any version of the Honda CR-V.
Comparing Hybrid Engine Options
The new Hyundai Tucson offers more electrified engine options than the Honda CR-V. The Honda CR-V offers a mild hybrid with a 204-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors. Its performance lags behind the Tucson's mild and plug-in hybrid, which is evident when you look at towing capacity. The hybrid Hyundai Tucson can tow up to 2,000 pounds, while the CR-V can only tow 1,000 to 1,500 pounds. Additionally, the Tucson plug-in electric hybrid allows for fuel-free driving up to 33 miles on one charge, which is not an available option for the Honda CR-V.
